Learning outcomes

The student will have a thorough understanding of the basic concepts, essential theories, and research methods of contact linguistics. Furthermore, the student will be able to apply these in analysing different varieties of English.

Contents

The course unit explores the main theories and methods of contact linguistics, as well as their application in the analysis of English-language texts.
