TKOPY4 Introduction to Computing 3 ECTS

Learning outcomes

The course provides the students with basic computing skills needed during the studies.

Contents

The course familiarises students with using the most common software applications and aims at preparing them to independent further studies on the use of these applications. Moreover, students become acquainted with the University's computing environment, basic issues concerning data protection and security as well as the possibilities provided by Internet services such as using a web browser, managing e-mail and distributing material online.

Requirements for passing the course are (1) acceptable solutions for the given exercises, (2) a project paper, and (3 ) presentation of the project paper.
