After completing the course, the student will be familiar with the basic concepts, methods, and applications of cultural psychology. The course aims to increase students’ understanding of how sociocultural and physical environments shape psychological phenomena and to facilitate students’ capacity to conduct context-informed and valid psychological research. Students will also gain knowledge about cultural competency in clinical and multicultural work settings.
