Learning outcomes

To familiarise students with legal and administrative genres and retrieving information important to translators and interpreters.

Contents

Different genres of legal discourse, translating legal terms, official translations; improving knowledge of legal and administrative terminology by learning more about different legal fields and essential sources of information and terminology; comparing Finnish and Russian legal systems and analysing texts.
