After completing the course a student is expected to be able to:
-understand the special features of game design processes -generate, develop, concretize, transform, communicate and document game ideas on a fast paced schedule -analyze and reflect his/her creative process
Contents
The practice of game production. Innovation and creativity in game design. Iterative game design. Game idea generation techniques. Formal elements, theme and visual. Paper prototyping. Games as system and game balancing. Playtesting as part of game design. Evaluation and documentation of game design process.
