To provide students with tools for analyzing communication situations and opportunities to practice and develop their communication skills in order to reduce communication anxiety and promote communication as an essential means of managing cultural diff erences and adapting to new situations and environments.
Contents
Various principles and techniques relevant to intercultural communication situations such as cultural diff erences in communication style, problem-solving, and non-verbal communication will be investigated. Through experiential exercises and group work, students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have gained as well as to test and improve their own communication skills.
