Learning outcomes

The learning outcomes of the courses under this heading are defined separately for each course. The general learning outcome is that after completing the course, the doctoral student is widely informed about the different research methods or other tools presented in the course and understands the preconditions, possibilities and limitations involved in their use. S/he is able to critically and analytically read research that has applied novel, creative or otherwise unconventional research methods. S/he is able to apply the methods and other tools presented in the courses to her/his own research.

Contents

The courses offered under this heading may present and practice such research methods and electronic or other research tools that are not normally defined as belonging to quantitative or qualitative methods and are not covered by the mixed methods approach.
