General description

This course is in accordance with the faculty requirements for a foreign language text comprehension / written skills course.

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students will
- understand general texts and to some extent special-field texts (press, literature and current events)
- be able to read and understand Italian general texts and recognise their core content
- recognise the core structures of Italian

Contents

This course consists of topical articles from newspapers and periodicals, short stories and excerpts from literature. Emphasis on reading comprehension. Grammatical structures will be revised and practised when needed.
