Learning outcomes

Students have gone through the whole research process and learned to apply a research method in practice. Students are able to demonstrate their basic research skills in the form of a thesis.

Contents

During the seminar, students have produced a bachelor's thesis of approximately 20-30 pages of text. If separately agreed, the bachelor's thesis can also consist of a shorter scientific article.

Further information on prerequisites and recommendations

During the seminar, students also complete Information Acquisition II.
It is recommended that students complete simultaneously: STYÖA4 Research Methodology Studies (lectures and literature) and Scientific Writing (Finnish).

Modes of study

Active participation in the seminar (48h), a bachelor's thesis and a maturity test.
