To examine what multiculturalism is from the viewpoint of social theory; to explore how multiculturalism can be seen and experienced (or not) in specific contexts such as social work, health care centers, residential areas and schools.

The context and contents of this course will vary. The main emphasis will be on the application of theories of multiculturalism and actual practice/experience.
