Learning outcomes

To master recent theoretical and methodological debates and acquire advanced knowledge of new directions in the fields of European integration studies and International Relations.

Contents

The course will familiarise students with recent theoretical debates on European integration studies, especially as conducted in the discipline of International Relations. It is organized as an international symposium – in cooperation with the Finnish Graduate School of Political Studies and/or with other graduate schools. Leading European integration and IR scholars will be invited to lecture on their areas of expertise and act as discussants at the seminars, where students will present essays related to their Master’s theses.
