General description

An optional course included in intermediate studies

Learning outcomes

To familiarise students with the basic principles and practical methods of records and documents management.

Contents

The theoretical basics, objectives and standards of records management. The methods, processes and life cycle analyses of records, documents and workflow management. The elements, different applications and operational principles of records management systems.

Teaching methods

18 h of lectures, 10 h of seminar, and 20 h of practical work on either 1) records and documents management, 2) information management systems or 3) archives.
