Beginners' Spanish Course II (approximately 90 hours) or equivalent skills (for example high school Spanish courses, or DELE nivel inicial). (A1 language proficiency level.)
After successful completion of the course, the students will be able to - communicate orally and in writing about everyday events in past and future tenses - comprehend the main content of texts on work, studies and daily events - describe their personal hopes and ambitions - connect thoughts using the conjunctions "but", "because" and "although" - decline adjectives, imperfects and passives
Contents
During this course, students practice oral communication in pairs or small groups, using authentic material (listening comprehensions). Grammar will rely on a text book and lecture handouts. There will be translation and structure exercises. Special emphasis on the verb. Familiarisation with the culture of Spanish-speaking countries.
