Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, students will
- have a basic knowledge in Chinese language and culture - master the common tone changes - be able to communicate orally in short ordinary situations; greetings, apologies, farewells, introductions; family, nationality and numbers - know the similarities and differences between Chinese and his / her native language - master basic words related to daily life and school and is able to talk about daily life with other students - be able to read simple texts with the help of the pinyin system and recognise some characters - be able to write simple characters
Contents
Basic pronunciation, grammar, listening pronunciation and tone practices, conversations for daily communication and various language skills supplementary exercises.
