To familiarise students with the structure of the thesis and the criteria used in assessing the thesis.

Contents

The seminar lasts one academic year. In the first seminar the student produces a research plan (10-15 pages). In the second seminar the student presents a paper based on his/her thesis (15-20 pages). The students are expected to attend the seminars and to participate actively in discussions in the class.
