Learning outcomes

To be able to interpret presentations which have been slowed down a bit, with the help of notes, between Russian and Finnish.

Contents

Interpreting long speeches, interviews and presentations into Finnish and Russian; improving note-taking techniques.

Finnish, Russian

Modes of study

Class participation and exercises. Students intending to proceed to Advanced Studies can alternatively complete VEAK1. Optional for students not proceeding to Advanced Studies.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Evaluation by active participation in exercises and interpreting skills.
