Students can discuss various topics in fluent and grammatically correct Russian and express themselves in the appropriate register in both spoken and written Russian. Students are also familiar with the conventions of academic writing in their field and can edit their own texts.

Discussion on modern-day Russian topics based on material prepared by students combined with writing assignments.
