Learning outcomes
To introduce students to the history of Spain and to broaden vocabularies.
Contents
An introduction to the Spanish history and culture.
Modes of study
Lectures, and a paper on a historical or cultural topic of students' own choosing. Can also be completed by taking an exam on Flores Guerrero’s El mundo hispánico (everything except for the part about Latin America).
Evaluation and evaluation criteria
Numeric 1-5.Evaluation by essay and exam.
