Upon completion of the course, students are able to • understand dynamics of continuity and change in Russian and European labour markets • recognize and independently analyze basic elements of regional labour markets • have a good grasp of labour-related macro trends such as migration, labour market segmentation, role of trade unions • appreciate historical legacies underpinning current labour market trends
Contents
The course examines labour market trends in Russia, Europe and the post-Soviet space. It acquaints students with labour processes, organization of work, management and industrial relations system.
