Learning outcomes

The goal of this course is to provide an overview of online learning environments. The theoretical premises, special features, possibilities, limitations and the spectrum of educational applications of the Internet are discussed. The course provides personal experience of using a modern Internet based learning environment.

Contents

The use of networks from a pedagogical viewpoint, the possibilities of an open and communal learning environment provided by technology, the problems and future of network based learning environments. Empirical studies on the subject.
