Learning outcomes

Students will know how peace mediation is a part of a broader peacemaking process
- Students understand various challenges associated with peace mediation situation
- Students are aware of various peace mediation models and practices
- Students have basic understanding how to act as a mediator
- Students know what are national dialogue processes

Contents

The course combines theoretical and critical approach to more practical orientation to mediation. Several practitioners from relevant NGOs and the Foreign Ministry are invited to the course. Small workshops and simulations are organized to acquit student to peace mediation situation.
