The course is intended to all students in Master´s programme. It provides an overview of systems of education and schooling with their key actors and of their contemporary national and trans-national change. Foreign students can accomplish the course through essay according to agreement with teacher.
Learning outcomes
Through accomplishing the course, the student - is familiar with the structure and functioning of Finnish system of education and schooling in the context of trans-national education and schooling policy - knows the crucial actors in construction and change of systems of education and schooling - understands the key mechanisms for developing and changing systems of education and schooling
Contents
During the course students will learn about regional, national and trans-national systems of education and schooling and about methods of influencing them. Through individual and group studies students practice participation in development and reform activity in the action field of their own orientation. Activities are analysed and reported in moodle-environment.
