General description

Students hone their interaction and problem-solving skills needed in the customer service of social work, learn to use methods, techniques and instruments applicable to the different stages of a professional work process in various customer and problem situations.

Learning outcomes

Students learn the basic skills and approaches needed in the customer service of social work and build their professional identities.

Contents

the work process and its different stages in different organisations of social work;
analysis practices of customer situations;
interaction and problem-solving skills, demonstrations;
methods, techniques, instruments; exercises

The participation of minor students is limited.

Teaching methods

Seminar 48h: lectures, demonstrations, assignments, interaction and analysis exercises

Active participation in the seminar and its different forms.
