Minor thesis is worth 15 ECTS.

Learning outcomes

To provide students with the facilities to produce an academic study demonstrating their knowledge and skills of research issues and methods in their own field of study.

Contents

The minimum length for a thesis is 60 pages. It is written in Finnish or in German, and at the end there will be a summary of 10-15 pages, written in the other language of the language pair.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Approbatur-laudatur.
Grade based on the 7-tier grading scale in Latin (approbatur-laudatur). Thesis requirements can be found within the faculty's thesis instructions, which can be printed from the faculty website.
