PHILPRO Proseminar I 5 ECTS

Learning outcomes

The course teaches students to write clear and well argued philosophical texts, to give comments on philosophical papers and presentations and to discuss philosophical themes.

Contents

PHILPRO1a, 3 ETCS, Basics of argumentation analysis and the formal requirements of a philosophical paper and
PHILPRO1b, 4 ETCS, Proseminar: Writing one presentation, detailed examination of one presentation and active participation in discussion.

Modes of study

Independent study: basics of argumentation analysis and the formal requirements of a philosophical paper.
Writing one presentation, detailed examination of one presentation and active participation in discussion.
The student’s personal study plan (HOPS) is also checked in the proseminar.

Evaluation

Pass/fail.
