HALJTS04 Public Financial Management and Evolving Administrative Structures 5 ECTS

Learning outcomes

The completion of study unit is instrumental in achieving understanding about the mechanisms of changing administrative structures. Students acquire comprehension as how the organization of the public sector influence the organization of financial structures, performance evaluation and management of public finances. Students will be able to combine theoretical traditions in the examination of strategic management and economic thought, and they appreciate the significance of the local and regional economics in the governance of public finances.

Contents

The study unit consists of viewpoints on public financial management based on changes in public administration and emergence of new organizational forms. Frameworks for the strategic economic governance, network structures and contracting models are instrumental in communication the developing structures of public financial management.
