Learning outcomes

To improve students' abilities to analyse language from many different methodological angles.

Contents

Emphasis on linguistic structures, the meaning of linguistic expressions and language in context.

Modes of study

A series of lectures. A written exam. Towards the end of the course, students teach sample classes on grammatical issues.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Evaluation by final examination and written assignment.
