Learning outcomes

Upon completing the course the student can
1) examine the policies and politics related to energy production, trade and use on the European and Eurasian (incl. Russia) levels;
2) Apply theoretical perspectives to analyse this complex issue area;
3) Discern the geographical, financial, institutional and ecological dimensions of energy policy;
4) Understand the differences between energy policy based on traditional fossil fuels and renewables.
