General description

Longitudinal studies are nowadays in an important position in many fields of science, e.g. medicine, economics and social sciences. These research models aim at analysing change caused e.g. by growth, deterioration, maturation, ageing etc. when individuals are followed for instance with respect to time or some spatial dimension.

Learning outcomes

The course introduces some methods of analysis used in longitudinal research whose statistical basis lies mainly in multivariate analysis or linear models.
