Learning outcomes

To learn the theories of economic development and growth. To learn the reasons for the welfare differences between countries. To learn the central features of developing countries. To learn the economics of cities, industrial location and regional growth.

Contents

Growth theories. Econometric research concerning growth. Development economics. International trade, trade liberalization and globalization. Economics of agglomeration.
