Learning outcomes

To train students to read and understand German texts, to recognise the most common conventions of genre and to apply at least two different text analysis models or methods. To encourage students to increase their vocabularies. To introduce the use of different dictionaries and glossaries.

Contents

Reading and analysing different genres, reading comprehension exercises, drawing up a glossary for own use.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Pass/fail.
Accepted performance based on active participation and acceptable completion of exercises.
