Upon completion of the specialization in User Experience Design and Evaluation the student - knows the User Experience research and development methods, - can apply this knowledge in research and development of new interactive technologies.

If the students have not taken these or equivalent studies in the previous degree, the studies must be taken as complementing studies. The requirements are defined for each student on the Personal Study Plan.

Further information
Most of the courses of this specialization will be organized by TUT/IHTE in Tampere University of Technology.
NOTE students from UTA do not take courses TIEVS72 Master's Thesis Seminar and TIEVS73 Master's Thesis Seminar Presentation in TUT. The programme studies must be discussed with the study advisor in the School of Information Scieces. The Master's Thesis supervisor in this specialization will be from UTA.
Advanced studies totalling 80 ects. If core module studies are less that 20 ects, the difference can be compensated with the specialization-specific advanced studies.
Complementing studies from the prerequisites part above or from the list of advanced studies or other studies as agreed with programme study advisor. Recommended studies are listed below:
