Upon completion of the specialization in User Experience Design and Evaluation the student - knows the User Experience research and development methods, - can apply this knowledge in research and development of new interactive technologies.

Prerequisites
If the students have not taken these or equivalent studies in the previous degree, the studies must be taken as complementing studies: • IHTE-3210 Käytettävyystutkimuksen menetelmät (TTY/IHTE) (Usability Research Methods TUT/IHTE) • IHTE-2100 Käyttöliittymäsuunnittelun perusteet (TTY/IHTE) (Introduction to User Interface Design TUT/IHTE) • OHJ-3010 Ohjelmistotuotannon perusteet (TTY) (Introduction to Software Engineering TUT) • OHJ-1106 Programming I (TTY) • Project work or Innovation project
Further information
Most of the courses of this specialization will be organized by TUT/IHTE in Tampere University of Technology.
NOTE students from UTA do not take courses TIEVS72 Master's Thesis Seminar and TIEVS73 Master's Thesis Seminar Presentation in TUT. The programme studies must be discussed with the study advisor in the School of Information Scieces. The Master's Thesis supervisor in this specialization will be from UTA.
