Learning outcomes


Upon completion of the specialization in Databases and Information Retrieval the student
- can define and analyze the information storage of an organization and make changes on it in cooperation with the business management
- can identify and define the concepts in information systems
- Knows how to apply central principles and methods of information modeling, storage, and analysis of stored information.
- can plan, implement, evaluate, and use databases and data collection systems
- knows how to utilize the tools of information management, information retrieval, and conceptual modeling
