After completing the course the student will understand:
• Leadership in management work, especially participative approaches
• Change dynamics
• Characteristic challenges in managing organisational renewal
• Complexity theory and cultural theory
• HR management
Students will learn essential principles in leadership theory and build a necessary understanding about change dynamics in processes of organisational renewal. Substance focuses especially on building, developing and renewing value networks (partnerships, alliances, etc). Prof. Klaus af Ursin (from the School of Management) teaches the course. The details will be provided along with a syllabus when the course begins. Much of the course is done via online study materials and group work, complemented and anchored with nine hours of seminar lecture.
