Learning outcomes

After completing Introduction to molecular biology, the student can: Describe the main features how the genetic information flows within an organism in transcription and translation; can describe RNA splicing and alternative splicing and basic elements in gene regulation in prokaryotes and eukaryotes; can list a number of techniques in molecular biology and describe their general principles.
