The course will deepen the students´ knowledge about feminist epistemology and methodology. The students will understand the central discussions of situating knowledge and the meaning of experience and commitment in relation to knowledge. The students can relate the readings of empirical research to larger debates on knowing and apply this to their own studies.

General description of the course

The course consists of lectures (14 hours), brief written reflections before each class (except the first class on 7.9.2016) based on the readings, written questions to the teacher before each class (except the first class on 7.9.2016) and a learning diary or an essay by November 1st.
