Students will have:
- Knowledge of the underlying principles and concepts in scientific research in education
- Be knowledgeable about what constitutes ethical conduct in research
This course introduces students to what scientific research is and to differences in research cultures within educational science. Students develop understanding of key issues and concepts, such as ontology, epistemology, methodology, competing paradigms, objectivity, validity and ethics in educational research.
The course is for the students of the programmes Master's Degree in Teacher Education and Master's Degree in Media Education.
