Learning outcomes

At the end of the course it is expected that students have a general understanding of the concept of MLE, being able to point out the characteristics of this practice and its implications in children?s process of development. Additionally, students should be able to reflect on their own learning, and to clearly envision the use of this theoretical framework in their future practice as teachers.

General description

The course will offer an overview of the topic of mediation of learning processes in multicultural educational settings. We will address key elements of the concept of MLE Mediated Learning Experience (Reuven Feuerstein), and explore possibilities to develop a mediated practice in different levels of education (emphasis will be given to Elementary Education).
