On completion of the course students are expected to:
-be aware of the typical conventions of academic seminars and texts;
-be able to understand the differences between statements based on facts, opinions and feelings;
-be able to participate actively in seminar in all the possible roles (defender, opponent, chair or group member);
-be able to construct a justified argumentation chain by expressing thoughts logically and presenting relevant evidence;
-be able to hold a seminar presentation;
-be able to write a presentation abstract;
