Learning outcomes

After completing the course students can define different types of stem cells. Students can explain sources of stems cells. Student can define the most common stem cell culture methods. Students know basic stem cell differentiation methods. Students can explain the reasons to use of various differentiation factors to generate most commonly generated cell types. In addition they can describe how plasticity of cells can be utilized to manipulate the functions of cells. Studen knows how to work with stem cells.

General description

Students will learn which are the different sources and types of stem cells. Students will learn most common stem cell culture and differentiation methods.
