After completing the course a student is expected to be able to:
-distinguish central thematic and methodological approaches and application areas in IM use and users research
-evaluate critically and apply central research results in the observations of IM users and design of IM use
-evaluate and select appropriate IM use and users research methods for a certain application purposes
-implement small scale research studies on IM use and users
Priority to this course is given to degree students in Information Studies and Interactive Media. Exchange students within the School of Information Sciences may attend this course if there are places left.
