General description

The aim of this course is to give the students an introduction to the basic concepts of CSR and the ways in which business can and claims to contribute to social wellbeing. The course aims at promoting discussion around the various socio-economic implications of business operations within different contexts.

The course starts with introductory lectures, after which students are given an assignment. The assignments are then discussed together in a seminar type of manner. At the end of the course students are expected to write a short learning diary reflecting their perceptions on the issues covered in the course. Supplementary reading list will be available. Completion of the course requires active participation in lectures and seminar and a learning diary of a few pages at the end of the course.

No enrollment required before hand - registration for the course on-site at the first lecture!
