After the seminar, the student can:
- perform systematic information retrieval on specific topics
- give scientific presentations and communicate the results to broad audience
- participate in scientific discussions
- explain the scientific methods and practices in bioinformatics and biosciences.
Seminar will be organized bi-weekly through out the academic year. Attendance to eight seminars, two presentations and active participation in discussion are required to pass the course. It is recommended to start attending the seminars already before you start your own Masters thesis project.
