Set book exams (according to the requirements of study modules and curriculum of the subject) and maturity tests can be taken on the general faculty examination days. If the exam takes place on Saturday, students must sign up for it at the latest on the Thursday of the previous week. Signing up for these exams can be done by leaving the specific sign-up envelope in the assigned box at the department or electronically in NettiOpsu at http://www.uta.fi/nettiopsu/.

Signing-up for the set book exams of the School of Modern Languages and Translation Studies must be done at least seven (7) days before the exam in NettiOpsu.

The exams at the end of lecture courses are organised by the departments. The lecturers are responsible for arranging these exams.
