Language of instruction

Translation Studies (English) courses are taught in both Finnish and English. However, even on many of the courses taught in English very high Finnish language skills are required. Translation courses, for example, have Finnish as either source or target language. Courses which are taught in English and require no Finnish language skills are listed in the teaching schedule under the heading Courses for international students.

Teaching in 2011-2012

Translation Studies (English) teaching will begin in the autumn term 1 September, and in the spring term on 9 January. There will be no teaching in the last week of period 1 (17-21 Oct) and the last week of period 3 (5-9 Mar).

Minor student exam

Enrolment in courses

Enrolment is done via the electronic NettiOpsu system unless otherwise indicated. Enrolment for autumn term courses will take place some time in the two weeks before teaching begins. Enrolment periods will be announced separately for each course in the teaching schedule.
