Content
The two-year MPD in Biomedical Technology is taught entirely in English and comprises 120 ECTS credits. The curriculum consists of general studies, advanced studies and free choice studies. There are three different specialization options: bioinformatics, molecular biology and cell technology. Each specialization option includes a module of methodological studies focusing on the specific methods and applications of the field.
The teaching methods include both theoretical courses and practical laboratory work. The education is provided in close connection with the research taking place in various research groups at the Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences. For the Master's Thesis every student completes an individual research project of 40 ECTS.
