Tampere University has been selected as the new national coordinator for EURAXESS Finland

EURAXESS is a joint initiative of the European Commission and over 40 countries participating in the Horizon Europe program, which supports researcher mobility and career development while promoting scientific collaboration between Europe and the world.

Tampere University has been selected as the new national coordinator and portal administrator for EURAXESS Finland. Tampere University continues the excellent work of the University of Helsinki, as well as the Universities of Turku and Vaasa, with EURAXESS Finland. 

EURAXESS offers researchers and their families free, personalized assistance with accommodation, visas, residence permits, language training, and social security arrangements. EURAXESS provides tools and resources for researchers and organisations to support career planning and career skills. Additionally, EURAXESS supports universities and research organizations in implementing the principles of the European Charter for Researchers via Human Resources Strategy for Researchers quality work. EURAXESS Initiatives include also e.g. Science4Refugees and ERA4Ukraine
