The course offers an overview of the learning sciences from the perspective of EDU research and with an emphasis on learning and development in the life course and in a wide range of human activities:

- Overview of the field of the learning sciences

- Developmental psychology perspectives in learning in the life course and diverse activities

- Diversity and equity in learning

- Adults’ learning in activities outside formal education
