The course discusses discipline or case specific research ethical questions. Depending on the research interests of the participants, the course can examine a range of topics, for example, ethical review, publishing and authorship, conflicts of interest and the dual role of the researcher, collaboration with industry, trust in science, academic freedom, the role of values in research and objectivity, socially responsible research, citizen science and co-research.
